Rajat Patidar takes the captain’s role for the first ODI, while Tilak Varma steps in to lead the team for the next two games. All three ODIs will unfold at the iconic Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, starting at 1:30 PM IST. Mark your calendars: the first match hits the field on September 30, 2025, followed by the second on October 3, and the third on October 5. It’s a great chance to spot rising stars from the Indian Premier League (IPL) making their mark in domestic cricket.
Abhishek Sharma, who kicked off India’s T20I campaign with flair, joins the squad for the opener. IPL standouts Priyansh Arya and Vipraj Nigam also earn spots—Arya smashed 475 runs in 17 matches for Punjab Kings (PBKS), while Nigam grabbed 142 runs and 11 wickets in eight innings for Delhi Capitals (DC).
