Kapil Kumar ties for the top spot in the IGPL Order of Merit after winning the IGPL Invitational in Pune. The 33‑year‑old shot a decisive playoff win over teenage rookie Kartik Singh at the Poona Golf Club, earning a total prize of ₹29,93,925. His money total places him just behind Gaganjeet Bhullar, who has already collected ₹45,00,000 from two wins at Chandigarh and Jaypee Greens.
Kartik Singh, who finished third at Jaypee and tied eighth at Chandigarh, now sits in third place on the IGPL earnings list with ₹28,71,557. Pukhraj Singh Gill, who earned ₹21,21,557, ranks fourth after a solid run that included a tie for 11th in Chandigarh and an eighth‑place finish in Pune.
More than half a dozen players have crossed the ₹20 lakh mark in just three events, with M Dharma at fifth place (₹18,18,000). Other notable players include Sachin Baisoya, Kartik Sharma, Saarthak Chibber, Aman Raj, and rising star Veer Ganapathy.
In the women’s division, Durga Nittur tops the earnings chart with ₹4,76,400 (31st overall), followed by Jasmine Shekar with ₹4,60,500 (32nd overall).
The IGPL Invitational also featured a Pro‑Am team contest. Professional Shat Mishra led his team—comprising Maj Gen Vikram Verma, Lt Col Shakti Singh, and Group Captain Manoj Gera—to victory with 53.2 points. Mishra’s quartet earned ₹75,000, while the runner‑up team of Aadil Bedi (with Col Mohan Nasa, Vikram Puri, and Asheer Kapoor) took home ₹50,000, and the third‑place team of Aryan Roopa Anand (including BK Nihal, Vikrant Tatkare, and Imran Azam) received ₹25,000. Amateur players also took home attractive prizes and a custom IGPL trophy to celebrate their performance.
