Jaipur Pink Panthers Edge Out Patna Pirates in Thrilling PKL Match in Vizag

In a tense and exciting Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) match in Visakhapatnam, Jaipur Pink Panthers narrowly beat three-time champions Patna Pirates with a 39-36 score. The match took place at Vishwanadh Sports Club and kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

Star player Nitin Kumar Dhankar led the Pink Panthers’ attack with a fantastic 13 raid points. Samadi Ali scored 8 points on his debut, making a strong impression. For Patna Pirates, Maninder Singh and Sudhakar Maruthamuthu shined, earning 15 and 9 raid points respectively.

The game began with Maninder Singh scoring for Patna Pirates, but Jaipur quickly responded. The Pink Panthers dominated early, but Patna held their ground with a crucial two-point raid by Sudhakar M, keeping the score tied at 8-8.

As the game progressed, Jaipur built momentum thanks to Nitin Kumar’s aggressive raids. Players like Nitin Rawal, Ronak Singh, and Reza Mirbagheri also stepped up on defense, helping the Pink Panthers take an early lead. In just ten minutes, Jaipur led 10-8, and soon after, they pulled ahead further, thanks to a key tackle from Reza Mirbagheri that resulted in an ALL OUT against Patna.

By the end of the first half, Jaipur Pink Panthers were in a comfortable position with a 21-16 lead. Nitin Kumar’s energy continued in the second half, and he scored his first point after 14 minutes. He then went on to score a Super 10, showcasing his offensive skills until he was finally dismissed on his 17th raid.

Patna Pirates didn’t give up and stayed within striking distance. Maninder Singh also scored a Super 10, supported by Ayan Lohchab and Sudhakar, to keep the game close. With less than ten minutes remaining, Ali Samadi’s speed and skill helped Jaipur stay ahead by about six points. Maninder Singh then made a quick two-point raid to cut the lead to four, heightening the excitement.

In the final moments, Patna fought hard with contributions from Maninder, Ayan Lohchab, and Sudhakar. However, Nitin Kumar and Ali Samadi managed to hold their ground, ensuring Jaipur Pink Panthers sealed a hard-fought 39-36 victory.

This win highlights Jaipur Pink Panthers’ strong performance and strategic play, making them a team to watch in the PKL season. Fans can look forward to more exciting matches as the league continues!
