Dabang Delhi K.C. kept their lead at the top of the Pro Kabaddi League standings with a 29‑26 victory over Jaipur Pink Panthers, played in Chennai’s SDAT Multi Purpose Indoor Stadium on Monday. The win gave the Delhi side a clean sweep of the two‑time champions in the competition.

The match was a defensive battle. Dabang’s Sandeep earned a “High Five,” finishing the game with seven tackle points that helped pull the score back when the Jaipur defence was strong. Ajinkya Pawar also hit high marks with a multi‑point raid that kept Delhi ahead at times.

Jaipur’s Reza Mirbagheri and Deepanshu Khatri made their mark with High Five performances, but four tackle points from Aryan Kumar could not break the stalemate. A Super Tackle that put the Pink Panthers ahead early gave them a 5‑6 lead at the end of the first quarter, but the lead reversed quickly when Dabang’s Ashu Malik launched a Super Raid to give Delhi a three‑point advantage.

Midway, Jaipur’s talisman, Reza Mirbagheri, finished with two Super Tackles that gave the Pink Panthers a 13‑12 edge at halftime. The second half felt more like a tug‑of‑war. Vinay’s raid pushed Jaipur ahead, but Ashu Malik answered with a raid that produced the first ALL‑OUT of the match and helped Dabang regain the lead.

Sandeep’s tackling continued in the later stages, and Ajinkya Pawar’s raid created a five‑point advantage for Delhi again. Jaipur’s Deepanshu Khatri completed his High Five, and the leaders tested each other on both sides of the court. The scoreboard remained close, with Jaipur narrowing the gap through a Super Tackle from Aashish Kumar and another from Aryan Kumar.

With five minutes left, Dabang’s Saurabh Nandal and Neeraj Narwal built on their advantage, and at the final buzzer Neeraj wrapped up the game with a clutch tackle of Ali Samadi, sealing the 29‑26 finish. The result cemented Dabang Delhi K.C.’s position at first place and confirmed their double over Jaipur in this season’s Pro Kabaddi League. ()
