The fourth season of the Prime Volleyball League is set to thrill fans from October 2 to October 26 in Hyderabad. The league kicks off with the Hyderabad Black Hawks hosting the defending champions, Calicut Heroes, and concludes with the exciting final match on October 26.
This year, the league has grown bigger and more competitive. It features 10 teams, including the new Goa Guardians, making it the biggest season so far. The teams are divided into two groups of five each. Pool A includes Goa Guardians, Chennai Blitz, Kochi Blue Spikers, Bengaluru Torpedoes, and Kolkata Thunderbolts. Pool B has Hyderabad Black Hawks, Delhi Toofans, Ahmedabad Defenders, Mumbai Meteors, and Calicut Heroes.
A total of 38 matches will be played during the league. The tournament kicks off with 35 league matches, where each team plays four matches in their pool and three against teams from the other pool. The top four teams will move into the semi-finals, regardless of which pool they belong to.
The league runs across 21 matchdays, packed with double-headers and exciting rivalries. After intense competition, the semi-finals will take place on October 24, leading up to the grand finale on October 26.
