Suryakumar spoke openly to the media after the victory in Dubai. “I’ve never seen anything like this in my career,” he said. “We battled through two tough games in two days, and the guys deserved that moment. When Naqvi approached the podium, the Indian players made it clear they wouldn’t take the trophy from him. Organizers then quietly whisked it away, delaying the event by over an hour and skipping the usual victory celebrations.
