Ahan Shetty debuts at New York Fashion Week, shares what makes it a ‘unique experience’

Actor Ahan Shetty is making waves at his debut New York Fashion Week (NYFW), calling the whole vibe "inspiring" and full of fresh energy. The young star, son of Bollywood icon Suniel Shetty, stepped out in style, rocking a sleek charcoal cardigan over a crisp white shirt, tailored trousers, and bold dark sunglasses. His look screamed effortless sophistication with minimal accessories.
Chatting with about his first NYFW experience, Ahan said, "It’s inspiring to be at New York Fashion Week. The energy, the creativity, and the diversity of voices coming together here make it such a unique experience. I really enjoyed being part of that atmosphere and seeing how fashion continues to push boundaries while still feeling so connected to the times we live in."
Ahan gave fans a sneak peek on Instagram, posting a photo of himself getting ready and captioning it simply: "My first New York Fashion Week." It’s clear he’s soaking up every moment of the global fashion extravaganza.
Shifting gears to his acting career, Ahan is buzzing with excitement for his big upcoming project, the epic war drama Border 2. This sequel to the 1997 blockbuster Border stars heavyweights like Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Varun Dhawan. Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar and JP Dutta, the film also features Medha Rana, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa. It’s set for a January 22, 2026 release.
While the original Border, helmed by JP Dutta, captured the heroism of the 1971 Battle of Longewala during the Indo-Pakistani War, Border 2 dives into the intense 1999 Kargil War. Back then, Pakistani troops sneaked across the Line of Control (LoC) into Indian territory in the Kargil district. India hit back with a massive military push and diplomatic efforts to reclaim the land, showcasing incredible bravery.
Ahan’s got more on his plate too. He’s set to star in an upcoming Indian horror film, scripted by Patrick Graham, who’s returning to Hindi horror after a break. This thriller blends scares with romance and draws from a real-life historical tragedy. They’re still casting the female lead, and details like the title and director are under wraps, as per Variety.com.
With NYFW behind him and these high-stakes films ahead, Ahan Shetty is definitely one to watch in Bollywood!
