Rishikesh Falcons are gearing up for an exciting start in the Uttarakhand Premier League (UPL) Season 2. The team will kick off their campaign on September 27, facing Tehri Titans in the second match of the day at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun. This comes straight from the latest UKPL release.
The Falcons just strengthened their lineup during the recent Player Draft, picking up star bowler Jagadeesha Suchith as their icon player. Fans are buzzing about what this talented squad can achieve right from the opener.
The UPL gets underway with women’s matches on September 23, and the men’s competition follows on September 27. After their clash with Tehri Titans, Rishikesh Falcons will take on Nainital Tigers on September 28 and Haridwar Elmas on September 29 in a prime-time showdown. They’ll then face defending champions USN Indians on September 30 under the lights for what promises to be a nail-biter. Their final league games are set for October 3 against Dehradun Warriors and October 4 versus Pithoragarh Hurricanes.
Team owner Dev Kesarwani is pumped about the side. “We’re confident the Rishikesh Falcons will deliver thrilling cricket and make Rishikesh and all our fans proud,” he said. “The team is ready, preparations are in full swing, and we’re eager to showcase top-notch cricket from our very first game.”
With a smart mix of experienced stars and fresh young talent, the Falcons are eyeing a top-three spot to reach the playoffs on October 4 or even the Season 2 final on October 5. This balanced squad looks set to light up the Uttarakhand Premier League.
