Ektaa Kapoor calls re-release of ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’ on PM Modi’s Birthday ‘a thoughtful initiative’

Chalo Jeete Hain Re-Release: Ekta Kapoor Hails PM Modi’s Birthday Initiative
Mumbai’s National Award-winning film Chalo Jeete Hain is set for an exciting nationwide re-release on September 17, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday. This special screening runs until October 2, announced by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, to celebrate unsung heroes and inspire the youth.
Producer Ekta Kapoor couldn’t hide her enthusiasm about this move. She took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her thoughts, praising PM Modi directly. "Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi ji, you have taken such a thoughtful & inspiring initiative. The re-release of #ChaloJeeteHain with #SevaKaSanman will truly honour the silent heroes of our society. Warm wishes in advance to you sir," she posted, adding a folded hands emoji.
The film’s producer, Mahaveer Jain, echoed the excitement in the official press release. He highlighted how Chalo Jeete Hain delivers a powerful message about respecting every job and person. "It will inspire millions of young minds and reinforce values like selflessness, empathy, and duty to the nation—a true tribute to our Prime Minister," Jain said. He added that the movie aims to spark purpose in young hearts, encouraging positive contributions to society.
For those new to the film, Chalo Jeete Hain draws inspiration from a real childhood story of PM Narendra Modi. It follows young Naru, deeply influenced by Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy, as he seeks to understand its true meaning. Directed by Mangesh Hadawale, the drama features Dhairya Darji as Naru, Dev Modi as Harish, Dipti Avlan as Hiraben, Rajeev Saxena as Damodar, Ajay Kumar as Guruji, and Lata S. Singh as Kamla.
Produced jointly by Hadawale, Mahaveer Jain, and Bhushan Kumar, the movie first hit theaters on July 11. This re-release ties into the #SevaKaSanman campaign, making it a perfect way to mark PM Modi’s milestone birthday while promoting national values.
