Indore, Madhya Pradesh: On Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav joined a lively cleanliness drive in Indore to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday. The event, part of the Seva Pakhwada Abhiyan, took place right on the grounds of MY Hospital, where the CM rolled up his sleeves alongside local leaders and citizens.

Kicking things off, Yadav flagged off special e-waste collection vehicles from the Indore Municipal Corporation. He also led a group pledge, urging public representatives, social workers, and everyday folks to keep their neighborhoods spotless. "Let’s all commit to a cleaner India," he encouraged the crowd.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister praised PM Modi’s vision. "Today marks PM Modi’s birthday, and he’s chosen to celebrate it through Seva Pakhwada – a true inspiration for us all," Yadav said. He highlighted Modi’s recent visit to Madhya Pradesh, where the PM laid the foundation for the job-boosting PM Mitra Park and launched key initiatives like Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar.

Yadav stressed the importance of cleanliness at MY Hospital. "Indore is already famous for its spotless streets, and now we want this hospital to shine in hygiene too," he noted. He called on hospital staff and district officials to step up their efforts. The state government, he promised, will back all development projects here with full support.

To get everyone involved, the CM made a heartfelt appeal: Dedicate just two hours a week – or 100 hours a year – to volunteer for cleanliness drives. "It’s our shared duty to keep places like this hospital clean and welcoming," he added.

Earlier in the day, Yadav visited the Khajrana Ganesh Temple in Indore to offer prayers. He sought blessings for the health and prosperity of Madhya Pradesh’s people. Later, he stopped by a blood donation camp, chatting with donors and appreciating their generosity.

This cleanliness drive in Indore highlights Madhya Pradesh’s push for better hygiene and community service, inspired by PM Modi’s birthday celebrations.
