Mumbai actress Nikita Dutta recently hopped on a bike to explore the city’s shiny new coastline, and she couldn’t stop raving about it. In a fun Instagram video, she shows off her cycle ride along the scenic stretch, calling it a total win for runners and cyclists alike.
Nikita shared her excitement in the caption: “Cycled on the new coastline of the city. It’s a delight for runners and cyclists. Hoping for the convenience of reaching there to get better soon! Thank you for lending me your bike @pedalandtringtring.” She also called on city officials to boost accessibility and keep the area spotless so everyone can enjoy it more.
This spot refers to Mumbai’s impressive 7.5 km Coastal Road project, complete with a 5.25 km promenade perfect for walking and cycling. Stretching from Marine Lines to Worli, it includes lush green spaces, comfy seating, restrooms, and drinking water stations—all easy to reach through underpasses. It’s becoming a go-to spot for fitness enthusiasts in Mumbai looking for fresh air and ocean views.
On the work front, Nikita just starred in the thrilling heist movie “Jewel Thief,” now streaming on Netflix. She plays the role of Farah alongside big names like Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film comes from directors Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal.
Reflecting on her experience, Nikita opened up about what stood out for her. “I’ve been part of Sid Anand’s world, which I feel is a huge thing because I mean, I feel as an actor, especially as a female actress, I would say. I don’t think I’ve lived the classic Bollywood heroine tag, which, thanks to you and Mamta, I have gotten this opportunity to play the classic Bollywood heroine. And I’m not saying just because you’re going to see me dancing. It’s just overall to get the heroine feeling. I think I’ve gotten that from this film. So that’s my takeaway from being a part of Sid Anand’s world with this film.”
