Girl, 7, goes viral for brutally honest reaction to Al Roker at Thanksgiving parade

A 7‑year‑old girl surprised Al Roker with an adorably “ho‑hum” reply when he, bright‑eyed and excited, handed her a “golden ticket” to watch the Rockettes in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
In the clip that’s now trending, the former “Today” show weatherman spots Elliot in the crowd and, with a grin, offers her the free pass as a birthday treat.
“You get to see the … Radio City Music Hall Rockettes!” Roker says as the cameras roll.
“I did that yesterday,” the girl replies, matter‑of‑factly, catching the TV host off‑guard.
Roker bursts into laughter and recovers, saying, “You did it yesterday! Oh my golly! Well, you get to see them again!”
The kid’s blunt moment had the audience chuckling, and Roker then declared, “Happy birthday, sweetheart.”
He also prompted her to give a shout‑out to NBC hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, who were joining from a remote location.
“Hey, we saw her yesterday!” Guthrie quipped.
