SIIB Pune Strengthens Industry Connect with 27.6 LPA as the Highest Placement for MBA Batch

Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) in Pune just wrapped up another impressive placement season, with the highest salary package hitting 27.6 LPA across its popular MBA programs. As part of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), which earned an A++ grade from NAAC, SIIB keeps shining as one of India’s top B-schools. It specializes in areas like international business, agri-business, and sustainability management, drawing strong interest from companies focused on global trends.
Top recruiters like Accenture, Asian Paints, EY, HDFC Bank, and Unilever jumped in to hire fresh talent for roles in consulting, finance, marketing, and operations. These big names show how much trust the corporate world has in SIIB graduates—they’re ready to tackle real-world challenges right away. The institute’s programs mix tough academics with hands-on training, including Six Sigma certifications and business simulations, helping students gear up for jobs in India and abroad.
In the MBA in International Business—the institute’s flagship program—most offers came from IT and IT-enabled services (27.5%), followed by banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) at 22.9%, consulting (13.7%), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) at 8.5%, analytics (7.2%), and manufacturing (6.5%). Other roles popped up in growing fields, covering strategy, marketing, finance, supply chain, and business development. This spread highlights how SIIB prepares students for diverse careers in international business placements.
The MBA in Agri-Business program saw solid demand too, proving its value in a niche field. BFSI led with 25.4%, then agri-inputs (22.2%), consulting (11.1%), agri-services (9.5%), dairy processing and IT (both 7.9%), FMCG (6.3%), agri-commodities (4.8%), agri-tech (3.2%), and sustainability (1.6%). Students landed jobs in rural marketing, commodity trading, procurement, agri-supply chain, and agri-finance, cementing SIIB’s spot as a go-to for agri-business talent.
For the MBA in Sustainability Management, the buzz centered on renewable energy and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. ESG roles took the top share at 34%, with IT/ITeS at 21.6%, consulting (19.6%), conglomerates (13.4%), and energy (11.3%) rounding out the list. Opportunities included corporate sustainability, ESG benchmarking, green financing, renewable energy, and climate consulting—perfect for today’s eco-focused job market.
Breaking down the packages: The MBA in International Business scored a top offer of 27.60 LPA and an average of 16.20 LPA. Agri-Business hit 21.60 LPA highest and 12.60 LPA average, while Sustainability Management reached 19.20 LPA highest and 14 LPA average. These numbers reflect SIIB’s strong push toward high-paying jobs in MBA placements.
