FBI chief Kash Patel fired back at critics after his girlfriend, country‑music star Alexis Wilkins, was called out online. The comments came after reports that Patel flew on an FBI jet to Penn State University, where Wilkins sang the national anthem on October 25.
Patel posted a defensive message on X. “The disgustingly baseless attacks against Alexis — a true patriot and the woman I’m proud to call my partner in life — are beyond pathetic,” he wrote. He added that Wilkins is “a rock‑solid conservative and a country music sensation who has done more for this nation than most will in ten lifetimes.” The FBI director said he feels “so blessed” to have her close.
In his post Patel also warned that the attacks could threaten safety and called on “our supposed allies” who have stayed silent. “Your silence is louder than the clickbait haters,” he said.
Wilkins’s performance at Penn State drew attention because the singer is known for her patriotic country songs. Her appearance at the wrestling event put her and the FBI director in the spotlight, sparking the online backlash that led to Patel’s response.
The story is still developing. Stay tuned for updates on the fallout.
