Trump lashes out at NYT reporter in latest outburst at female journalist: ‘Ugly both inside and out’
President Trump took to the airwaves on Wednesday, slamming a New York Times journalist after she helped publish a negative profile of his health.
He blasted her, calling her “ugly, both inside and out,” a harsh jab that added to his earlier ribbing of a Bloomberg reporter who was “quiet, piggy” when she tried to ask about Epstein files.
The Times story noted that the former president is now cutting back on public appearances, shuttling far less across the country than he did in 2017, while foreign trips have risen.
It added that most of his remaining public events fall between noon and 5 p.m. On the health front, Trump disclosed in October that he underwent an MRI at Walter Reed and was later diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, which can cause ankle and leg swelling.
Standing 78, he remains the oldest man ever elected to the Oval Office and, if he completes his term, will surpass Joe Biden as the nation’s second‑oldest commander‑in‑chief.
