Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva announced an exciting two-week public service campaign to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17. Kicking off right away, the initiative runs until October 2 and features a packed schedule of community activities across the city.
Speaking to the media, Sachdeva shared details of the 17 diverse programs that Delhi BJP workers will roll out, from state-level events to local mandal gatherings. “We’re honoring the Prime Minister’s vision through real action on the ground,” he said, emphasizing how these efforts will bring people together for social good.
The campaign starts with a massive cleanliness drive on September 17, followed by tree plantation drives to boost green spaces. BJP teams will set up blood donation camps and health check-up camps to support public health. There’s even a documentary screening on PM Modi’s inspiring life, plus outreach sessions with intellectuals and book distributions highlighting his journey.
Other highlights include honoring divyang (differently-abled) individuals and other achievers, promoting Vocal for Local to encourage homegrown products, and fun MP-level sports competitions. Kids and youth can join the ‘Viksit Bharat’ painting contest or the Modi Development Marathon. Expect exhibitions on the PM’s life, celebrations for Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Jayanti, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti. The lineup also covers Namo App promotions, social media drives, and public discussions on GST reforms.
To keep everything smooth, Sachdeva revealed coordination committees for each event. At the state level, General Secretary Vishnu Mittal leads the charge, with co-coordinators Dinesh Pratap Singh, Sona Kumari, Satyanarayan Gautam, and Rajkumar Chautala pitching in. BJP leaders and workers will team up with Delhi government programs too, making it a collaborative push.
Sachdeva highlighted that over 1 lakh BJP karyakartas (workers) from all walks of life will join in, ensuring the Seva Pakhwada reaches every corner. Meanwhile, the Delhi government plans to launch 75 welfare projects and schemes during this period, aligning perfectly with the birthday festivities.
This campaign isn’t just about celebrations—it’s a call to action for a cleaner, healthier, and more developed Delhi. Stay tuned for updates on how you can get involved in these PM Modi birthday events!
