Firing Incident Rocks Bollywood Star Disha Patani’s Family Home in Bareilly
In a shocking early morning attack, two unidentified men on a motorbike fired shots at the residence of Bollywood actor Disha Patani’s family in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The incident happened around 3:30 AM on Friday in the Civil Lines area, leaving locals on edge.
Bareilly’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Anurag Arya, confirmed the details. He explained that the assailants targeted the home of retired CO Jagdish Patani, Disha’s father. "We got reports of firing by two bike-borne attackers. Our police teams rushed to the spot right away, and we’ve filed an FIR at Kotwali police station under relevant sections," SSP Arya said.
To ensure safety, armed police officers are now guarding the family. The SSP added that five special teams, led by SP City and SP Crime, are actively investigating the Bareilly firing incident. "We’ll crack down hard on the culprits. I met the family personally and promised full protection," he assured.
