US Marshals offer reward for arrest of Travis Turner, the missing Virginia football coach wanted on child porn charges
A $5,000 reward is being offered by the US Marshals for anyone who can help locate Travis Turner, the former football coach from Big Stone Gap, Virginia, who is now wanted on several child‑pornography and computer‑solicitation charges.
Marshals are asking the public to report any leads via 911, the state police, or the Marshals tips line at 1‑877‑WANTED2.
Turner’s family attorney, Adrian Collins, said the coach vanished on November 20, leaving behind a firearm and a trail into the woods. Authorities have added that he faces five counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of using a computer to solicit a minor, with additional charges under investigation.
The high‑school that once boasted an undefeated team under Turner’s leadership has removed his name from its staff listings. Police warn that he could be armed and advise the public to exercise caution if they encounter him.
