Gujarat: Free health checks for women organised in Valsad under ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’
Women across India are flocking to the ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’ campaign, signing up in droves for free health check-ups and services aimed at boosting women’s health and family well-being. Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this initiative is already making waves in communities big and small.
Take Gujarat’s Valsad district, for example. On Tuesday, the local health department rolled out special health camps at community health centers, primary health centers, and government hospitals. Women, new mothers who are lactating, and children turned out in large numbers to get routine check-ups, medical advice, and childcare support—all at no cost.
Attendees shared their excitement, thanking PM Modi and the Gujarat government for these efforts. One beneficiary noted how the camps reach poor and tribal families, sparking real health awareness among women who need it most.
The ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’ kicked off on September 17, 2025—PM Modi’s 75th birthday. It focuses on ramping up healthcare access, improving care quality, and spreading health education for women and kids nationwide. The push continues until October 2, 2025, with a clear goal: build healthy women, strong families, and a tougher India overall. By September 20, organizers had hosted over 2.83 lakh screening and specialty camps, drawing more than 76 lakh people across the country.
