Srinagar Hosts Successful Mega Blood Donation and Wellness Camp
In Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, Team Red teamed up with the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council (JKSC) and Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) to pull off an inspiring Mega Blood Donation and Wellness Camp on Sunday. The event drew huge crowds of volunteers, donors, and locals eager to pitch in and save lives through blood donations.
Beyond the blood drive, the wellness camp provided free medical consultations, quick health check-ups, and informative sessions on preventive healthcare. These activities aimed to boost community well-being and spread awareness about staying healthy, according to organizers.
The event got a big boost from notable guests, including Health & Medical Education Minister Sakina Itoo, Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, MLA Lal Chowk Ahsan Pardesi, and SKIMS Director Dr. Ashraf Ganaie. Other top officials joined in to show their support.
Team Red Chairman Saadat Nasir Wani Sogami welcomed everyone warmly and thanked the dignitaries, medical experts, volunteers, and donors for making the day a hit. As a J&K-based trust, Team Red focuses on building lasting community programs in health, education, empowerment, and humanitarian aid.
