US boat strike kills 4 alleged ‘narco-terrorists’ off Venezuela, Pete Hegseth says

The US military has struck again against drug traffickers, taking out four alleged narco-terrorists on a boat off Venezuela’s coast. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth shared the news Friday, calling it a direct hit on a vessel linked to terrorist groups.

In a post on X, Hegseth explained that the boat carried large quantities of narcotics aimed straight at the US, meant to “poison our people.” He stressed that solid intelligence confirmed the operation: the crew were narco-terrorists operating on a well-known drug trafficking route.

Video footage released shows the boat exploding in flames and smoke on the ocean, highlighting the intensity of the strike. Hegseth made it clear these actions won’t stop anytime soon. “These strikes will continue until the attacks on the American people are over!!!!” he wrote.

This latest US military strike marks at least the fifth since September 2. The Trump administration has labeled these drug cartels as enemy combatants, ramping up efforts to disrupt narcotics trafficking from Venezuela to America and protect communities from the opioid crisis.
