Kolkata – As the 2025 West Bengal Assembly elections draw nearer, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a new online drive called Nam Oyava Warriors to rally ordinary voters across the state. The site, https://namoyavawarriors.com, went live at an auditorium in the city, where top state BJP leaders and Sunil Bansal, the party’s central observer for West Bengal, opened the event.
The website invites anyone who wants to help the BJP in the upcoming elections to register their details online. For those who prefer a quick phone option, the party also opened a toll‑free number, 701590‑0900, where supporters can leave a missed call to sign up.
A key visual on the site is a stylised map of West Bengal superimposed on a portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, underscoring the party’s promise to bring development and accountability to the state.
BJP officials say the move is a direct response to critics who label the current Trinamool Congress government as corrupt and mismanaging. The party wants people who are frustrated by alleged corruption and misrule to join its campaign, pledging to fight back against it and to help build a “developed Bengal” by the next election.
What the program aims to achieve:
- End corruption and create transparent recruitment for state government jobs
- Make colleges and universities safer, free from ragging, sex‑crime and fee‑cutting syndicates
- Revive West Bengal’s past economic strengths through fresh investment, new start‑ups and skill‑building programs
- Create local jobs for youth and curb the out‑migration of skilled workers
Earlier this month, the ruling Trinamool Congress announced its own digital drive with a site called ABdigitalajoddha.com, also targeting ordinary citizens to support its campaign.
In short, the BJP’s Nam Oyava Warriors platform is a digital push to tap the power of everyday voters, promise anti‑corruption measures, and try to gain ground in the highly contested West Bengal Assembly elections.
