Eyewitness Rushes BMW Accident Victims to Hospital in Delhi’s Dhaula Kuan

A shocking accident on Delhi’s Ring Road near Dhaula Kuan has left one person dead and others injured after a speeding BMW collided with a motorcycle. The incident, which happened late at night, has sparked a police investigation into the BMW car crash, with an FIR filed against the driver for causing the accident and trying to tamper with evidence.

Eyewitness Gulfam, who quickly stepped in to help, shared his story with . "I was driving from Dhaula Kuan when I spotted a car overturned and people hurt on the road," he said. "I didn’t think twice—I helped two injured people into my car and rushed them to Nulife Hospital in Azadpur. A woman sat in the front seat and guided me straight there." Gulfam added that the victims’ conditions looked really serious. "It took us about 20 minutes to get to the hospital, and the doctors were all set to treat them. That’s probably why she picked that spot—I didn’t ask much since I wasn’t familiar with the area."

According to Delhi Police, the motorcycle rider was a Ministry of Finance employee from Hari Nagar, out on a late-night ride with his wife. Their bike first hit a bus on the left before the BMW slammed into them, causing chaos around 2:20 AM. The BMW ended up flipped over, while the motorcycle landed near Metro pillar number 67. Tragically, the rider later died from his injuries, and his wife is still under treatment.

The BMW driver, a woman from a Gurugram business family, and her husband also got hurt in the Delhi traffic accident. Eyewitnesses told police that the couple took a taxi to the hospital instead of waiting at the scene. "We got calls about a traffic jam, but when our team arrived, it was clear an accident had happened," said Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) South-West Delhi, Abhimanyu Poswal. "CCTV footage confirmed the BMW-motorcycle collision. The crime team checked the site, seized both vehicles, and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team inspected everything."

Police received another alert around 4:20 AM from a GTB hospital about the injured victims. Poswal confirmed the FIR includes charges for the fatal crash and attempting to hide evidence. "The suspect is still in the hospital, but we’re digging deeper to find out exactly what caused this BMW accident in Delhi," he said. Legal action is underway as the investigation into the Dhaula Kuan incident continues.
