In a shocking stabbing in Northeast Delhi’s Bhagirathi Vihar area, an 18-year-old laborer lost his life to a brutal attack on Thursday afternoon.
Police at Gokalpuri station got a call around 4:54 p.m. about the incident. When officers rushed to Gali No. 6 in Bhagirathi Vihar, they learned the victim, who worked at a nearby scrap godown, had already been taken to GTB Hospital by his brother. Sadly, doctors there declared him dead on arrival.
Early probes point to two suspects who allegedly carried out the assault. Authorities have filed a case under sections 103(1)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and sections 25/27 of the Arms Act, as the Delhi stabbing highlights rising concerns over violent crimes in the city.
Forensic experts combed the crime scene in Bhagirathi Vihar, gathering key evidence to build the case. Multiple police teams are now on the hunt, working around the clock to track down and arrest the accused in this fatal Northeast Delhi attack.
This tragic incident has left the local community on edge, with residents calling for quicker action to prevent more violence in areas like Gokalpuri.
