‘Burn cage’ incinerator found at D4vd’s rented Hollywood home after teen’s body discovered in trunk: report

The device, still boxed and untouched, surfaced inside the Doheny Street residence as Steve Fischer, the detective, was sent to inspect the $20,000‑a‑month pad on behalf of its owner.

Fischer shared the unsettling find on X this Tuesday, remarking that it felt more like something you’d spot on a farm than in a Hollywood Hills home.

“Some might say this item was meant as a prop for a video,” Fischer wrote. “If that’s the case, there are obvious questions: why deliver a 55‑pound burn cage to a private residence rather than to a prop designer or production studio? Why order it before heading out on a world tour? Why never actually use it in any shoot?”

He mentioned that other items found in the home could potentially work with the burn cage, though he didn’t specify what they were.

D4vd is being investigated in connection with the death of 14‑year‑old Celest Rivas‑Hernandez. Her remains were discovered in a Tesla registered to the singer on September 8.

No official cause of death has yet been released by the Medical Examiner’s office, and no arrests have been made.

“Because Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s remains ended up in that Tesla trunk, the presence of an incinerator at the same residence connected to the vehicle definitely raises questions of intent,” Fischer said.

He added, “The burn cage wasn’t seized during the warrant search, and because it was never used it may not be crucial to a criminal investigation. Still, it provides important context, even if it isn’t criminal in itself.”

According to the PI, the burn cage was shipped to the Hollywood Hills address under a false name.
