BB19: Shehbaz Badesha on accusations for using late Sidharth Shukla’s name for votes: ‘Will always take his name, & no one can stop me’
Mumbai – Dec 5 (LatestNewsX) – The former Bigg Boss 19 contestant Shehbaz Badesha, who was evicted earlier this week, revealed that he kept speaking about the late actor and BB 13 champion Siddharth Shukla during his time inside the house. When asked why he continued to name Siddharth even after Salman Khan requested he stop, he said, “I will always take Sidharth Shukla’s name, and no one can stop me.”
Badesha went on to explain that he only mentioned the actor once in the game and then felt the issue was exaggerated. “He is like my brother; why can’t I talk about him? We spent so much time together. It shouldn’t be considered wrong,” he told LatestNewsX.
He shared additional details, saying, “His followers follow me on Instagram, and my sister Shehnaaz Gill’s followers also support me. I will always take Sidharth’s name, and no one can stop me.” Badesha added, “Even before Bigg Boss, I used to talk about them. I even got a tattoo of him four years ago. Why didn’t anyone say anything then? Was I in Pakistan?” he quipped.
Shehbaz emphasized the longevity of his online presence, noting, “My Instagram has always been right here and active. My bond with him is genuine,” he said.
For those who may not be up to speed, Shehba’s sister, former BB 13 contestant Shehnaaz Gill, and Siddharth Shukla were popularly known for their strong bond, often celebrated by fans with the hashtag #SidNaaz even years after Siddharth’s passing. Badesha has known Siddharth well since their days together.
Siddharth Shukla died in September 2021 after a heart attack. The actor’s sudden loss reverberated across the country, leaving fans in deep mourning.
