Amitabh Bachchan, affectionately called Big B, routinely engages his fans on Tumblr. In his newest post, he apologized for the delay in responding, explaining he had been pulling long nights on set.
His message read, “Kept working till 5:30 in the morning… and just forgot there was important Blog work and responses to give… so apologies and regrets… But regret never for the Ef (sic).”
At 83, the veteran still keeps a tight schedule and never misses a shoot.
Besides acting, he hosts the 17th season of the beloved game‑show “Kaun Banega Crorepati.” In the upcoming episode, contestant Subhash Kumar showcased his mimicry talent on the hot seat, leaving Big B laughing.
Subhash challenged the audience to picture a different version of “Kaun Banega Crorepati,” with Nana Patekar as the host and Sunny Deol as the contestant. He flawlessly imitated Nana’s voice, saying, “Aey KBC, tum geet ho, sangeet ho, sapna ho, mauka ho, apna ho, chauka ho… arey kaise bataun tum mere liye kya ho,” keeping Patekar’s mannerisms intact.
Shifting gears, he adopted Sunny Deol’s iconic style, replying to Nana as Sunny with, “KBC aapke liye zindabad tha, zindabad hai aur zindabad rahega!”, echoing the famous line from “Gadar.”
The spot‑on impersonations made Big B burst into laughter.
His last on‑screen appearance was in Nag Ashwin’s “Kalki 2898 AD,” sharing the set with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan.
