A shocking clip from a doorbell camera caught a group of teens setting fire to a parked car on a quiet Wisconsin street while the night was deep and still.
The footage shows six hooded kids huddling around a white vehicle, acting cool as another car drives past. Suddenly, one of them throws a stone that shatters the windshield, then drops a burning object into the passenger seat, setting the interior ablaze.
The shooter quickly disappears, while the others fling random debris at the flaming car in a desperate, chaotic attempt to keep it going. One of the teens can be heard shouting, “Janiyah, the other way,” as they scramble to escape.
Shortly after, the vehicle erupts into a huge fireball and a blaring alarm cuts through the street.
A concerned neighbor rushes to the porch, repeatedly rings the doorbell and watches the camera’s live feed. In a comment on the post, the neighbor remarks, “Thank GOD it wasn’t my car, but my Benz was parked right in front of it and my Hummer across the street!!! I’m glad my neighbor rang my camera to wake me,” drawing sharp reactions from the online community.
Many commenters lambasted the teens and questioned where their parents were at 1 a.m. on a Thursday night, with lines such as “Where are these kids parents at 1am on a damn Thursday night!” and “Wtf…Where are the parents???” flooding the thread.
It remains unclear whether the arson is part of a larger investigation, or simply the reckless act of a few juveniles.
