Hyderabad, Dec 5 – Sonia Gandhi, chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party, sent her best wishes to the Telangana Rising Global Summit taking place in Hyderabad on December 8‑9.
In her note, she praised Chief Minister Ravindra Reddy for spearheading the summit and expressed hope that it will be a decisive step toward turning Telangana into a trillion‑dollar economy by 2034.
She highlighted that the gathering offers a much‑needed common platform for those keen to engage with the various exciting projects and plans driving Telangana’s progress.
“The three‑pronged strategy being used in the state adopts a 360‑degree approach, giving equal weight to urban, peri‑urban and rural‑agro development. This will allow Telangana’s incredibly rich human and natural resources, the entrepreneurial spirit of its people and its renowned knowledge and technological expertise to reach their full potential,” the message read.
Sonia Gandhi extended her congratulations to everyone attending the summit and wished them success in contributing to Telangana’s growth.
Earlier, the Chief Minister had invited Sonia Gandhi, AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, and senior leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to the event during his New Delhi visit on December 3.
During the meeting, he briefed them on the Vision Document that will be presented at the summit.
Chief Minister Ravindra Reddy also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several central ministers to extend the invitation.
The summit is poised to become the state’s flagship platform, showcasing its development vision, key infrastructure projects, investment opportunities, and the long‑term “Telangana Rising 2047” roadmap.
The government has invited all state chief ministers for the two‑day event, which will be hosted at the new Bharat Future City.
Leading industrialists, respected economists, athletes, media personalities, diplomats and experts from various domains have also received invitations.
