Jaipur is buzzing with excitement as the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 heats up! The Bengal Warriorz are set to bounce back strong when they take on the Tamil Thalaivas in their opening match of the Jaipur leg on Friday at the iconic Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The Bengal Warriorz, a fresh and talented young squad packed with energy, haven’t had the smoothest start to Season 12. But they’re not letting that slow them down. Defence captain Nitesh Kumar shared his thoughts ahead of the game, saying, “After our Vizag leg, we’re fired up to make a real impact in Jaipur. We’ve been fixing those little errors from our last matches through intense training. We’ve reviewed game videos, spotted our slip-ups, and studied the Tamil Thalaivas too. We’re all in to grab that win.”
Nitesh admits the early season hasn’t gone perfectly, but the team’s spirit stays high. “Sure, we haven’t kicked off ideally, but it’s still early days in the league. We’ll turn things around. I’m sure we’ll shine against the Tamil Thalaivas here in Jaipur,” he added confidently.
Looking back at their most recent outing, Nitesh pointed out key areas to sharpen. “In that last match, our defence could have been tighter. We dropped crucial points by not raiding or tackling enough. But we’ve drilled those weaknesses in practice, so expect a stronger defence from us now.”
Last season, the Bengal Warriorz fell short in both clashes with the Tamil Thalaivas. Things look different this time, though. With a new coach leading the charge and star raider Devank Dalal spearheading the revamped team, they’re eyeing revenge and those vital two points.
Nitesh respects their rivals but is ready for the fight. “The Tamil Thalaivas are a tough side with a killer raiding game, and they’ll want these points just as badly. Still, the Bengal Warriorz are prepped and we’ll give it everything to come out on top.”
