Actress Shanthi Priya recently opened up about her exciting journey shooting the Tamil film Bad Girl, where she ditched makeup for a raw, no-frills experience that made everything feel super real. The movie, produced by the talented Vetrimaaran and presented by Bollywood’s parallel cinema star Anurag Kashyap, showcases Shanthi Priya in a deeply emotional role full of dilemmas and heart.
In a candid chat, Shanthi Priya shared, "This was the first time I faced the camera without any makeup. No heavy lights, no fancy setups—just a simple compact camera and a mic. The whole process felt so raw and genuine, which turned the shoot into something truly special. With Bad Girl, I’ve always aimed to connect with audiences honestly, and I think we nailed it."
Fans and critics are loving Bad Girl‘s powerful storyline, with many praising how Shanthi Priya brings her character to life with real emotion and depth. Her performance adds that perfect mix of heart and seriousness to the film’s strong message.
