Aishwarya Pissay set to become the first Asian and Indian woman at Rallye du Maroc

Aishwarya Pissay is on a winning streak, and her next challenge is the 26th Rallye du Maroc. After becoming the first Asian and Indian woman to win her class in the BP Ultimate Rally‑Raid Portugal 2025, she is now ready to tackle one of the world’s toughest motor‑sport events.

The Rallye du Maroc will run from October 10 to 17. Competitors will drive a 2,299‑kilometre course that cuts from Fez to Erfoud, including 1,478 km of competitive stages. The event has 229 FIM‑licensed vehicles on board, with 107 FIA entrants and 122 FIM entrants. Aishwarya joins 120 championship riders from across the globe.

She is the only woman from Asia and the first Indian to enter the rally on a single‑wheel motorcycle in the W2RC Rally2 Women’s category. “After Portugal my confidence is high. Rallye du Maroc is one of the toughest on the W2RC calendar – it’s where I can best prepare for Dakar,” she said. “I’m here to learn, evolve, and push my limits again.”

The rally is also the season finale for the 2025 FIM World Rally‑Raid Championship. Its dunes, rocky trails, and navigation trials demand endurance, focus, and consistency – traits that Aishwarya has shown time and again. Her performance could set the stage for her goal of competing in the Dakar Rally 2027.
