The match at GMC Stadium in New Delhi began with Rajasthan United looking aggressive, hoping a large win would keep their semi‑final hopes alive. Pedro Astray opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a well‑placed header from a corner, and Robinson Blandon doubled the advantage in the 35th minute after a cross‑field pass set up a low finish.
The Desert Warriors went 2‑0 up by half‑time, but Sporting Club Delhi changed tactics in the second half. Sourav struck a long‑range effort in the 61st minute, sparking a comeback. The fight kept intensity high, earning bookings for Rajasthan United’s Abdul Samed Ango and Delhi’s Manoj Mohammad.
In stoppage time, Alan Saji’s quick finish from a cross by Andrei Alba brought Sporting Club Delhi level in the 90+4 minute. The equaliser gave Delhi their only point of the campaign and dashed Rajasthan United’s chances of reaching the semi‑finals.
Rajasthan United finished Group D with four points, while Sporting Club Delhi ended up last with a single point. Kerala Blasters and Mumbai City will contest the top spot and the final semi‑final berth later in the day at Fatorda.
The 2‑2 result leaves Rajasthan United eliminated from the Super Cup, but Sporting Club Delhi can celebrate their first point in as many games.
