Mumbai, Dec 1 (LatestNewsX) – At the closing ceremony of the 56th International Film Festival of India in Goa, Nikhil Nanda Motion Pictures LLP premiered the teaser for its forthcoming feature, “Akhri Sawal”.
Amit Sadh, who will play a pivotal role in the drama, described the occasion as both humbling and inspirational.
He said, “To stand on the IFFI stage and introduce Akhri Sawal to the world was both humbling and inspiring. Every film begins with a leap of faith, and this moment felt like our first collective step. I am grateful for the encouragement we received and look forward to starting the shoot in December with passion and dedication.”
The teaser was unveiled in the presence of prominent dignitaries and veteran filmmakers, underscoring the event’s significance.
Emphasizing its authenticity, the teaser notes that the story is “based on true events” and dramatizes lesser‑known conversations and ideological clashes that shaped India’s pre‑Independence era.
One striking moment shows Mahatma Gandhi visiting Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Their exchange probes ideals, purpose, and the reasons the RSS diverged from the Indian National Congress, concluding with an allusion to unresolved ideological conflict.

Directed by Abhijeet Mohan Warang, the film boasts a strong ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Amit Sadh, Namashi Chakraborty, and Tridha Choudhury.
