Hyderabad to host India’s first-ever FIP Silver Padel tournament

India’s padel scene is heating up with a groundbreaking new tournament. The Indian Padel Federation (IPF) is set to host the first-ever FIP Silver Hyderabad 2025, a major boost for the sport across the country.

This exciting event promises the biggest prize pool in Indian padel history—Rs 15 lakh—for both men’s and women’s categories. Expect top international stars to clash with rising Indian talents on the court. As part of the official International Padel Federation (FIP) tour, it marks a huge step for padel in India.

The tournament runs from October 12 to 15 at the KPGBA in Hyderabad. Players will compete on three top-notch MejorSet padel courts, known worldwide for their quality and performance.

IPF President Sneha Abraham Sehgal shared her excitement: “The FIP Silver Hyderabad is a game-changer for padel in India. With world-class facilities, elite international players, and the largest prize money ever here, this event raises the bar. It’s more than a tournament—it’s the start of India’s rise as a global padel hotspot.”

On the men’s side, watch for teams like #56 Denis Tomas Perino (Italy) and #56 Ignacio Piotto Albornoz (Argentina), #42 Agustin Torre (Argentina) paired with #75 Mario Ortega (Spain), #115 Rodrigo Coello Manso (Spain) and #91 Boris Castro Garcia (Spain), #125 Guillem Figuerola Santiago (Spain) with #130 Roberto Belmont Pastor (Spain), and Indian duo #1216 Shashank Narde and #1272 Manav Sreekumar.

For the women, key matchups include #52 Letizia Maria Manquillo Alarza (Spain) and #57 Laura Lujan Rodriguez (Spain), #80 Marcella Koek (Netherlands) with #93 Victoria Kurz (Germany), #112 Ainize Santamaria Landa (Spain) and #98 Rosalie Van Der Hoek (Netherlands), #108 Bo Luttikhuis (Netherlands) teamed with #109 Janine Hemmes (Netherlands), #147 Jessica Marie Agra (Philippines) and #156 Dilara Torssell (Turkey), plus Indian player #1111 Vaibhavi Deshmukh with #373 Sayaka Yoshimoto (Japan).
