Rajasthan govt to organise ‘Rozgar Utsav’ in December; 20,000 youth to receive job appointment letters

Jaipur, Nov 10 – The Rajasthan government is gearing up for a large‑scale job‑creation event in December, led by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. The “Employment Festival” (Rozgar Utsav) will hand out appointment letters to 20,000 young people, boosting the state’s workforce and giving families new hope.
A big boost for youth employment
Sharma has ordered officials to fast‑track pending recruitment and to fill every open role quickly. “Youth power is Rajasthan’s greatest strength,” the chief minister said. He wants each eligible young person to secure dignified work that helps build a stronger state.
Key sectors to see new hires
The festival will cover a wide range of government departments. Roughly 900 positions will open in the Jail Department, 2,500 livestock assistants in Animal Husbandry, about 14,000 posts in Health and Medical Services, 2,600 spots in Rural Development, and more than 100 jobs in the Mines Department, among others. Over the past year, Rajasthan’s BJP‑led government has already appointed nearly 92,000 young people. With the new 20,000 letters, the total will climb to 112,000.
Transparent process and extra support
Sharma has asked all officials to make recruitment clear and timely—from job postings and exams to results and paperwork. He also said leaders would deploy extra staff and resources where needed to avoid delays.
A steady path to job creation
The chief minister stressed that job generation remains a top priority. He sees the Rozgar Utsav as a “ray of hope” for thousands, showing that government, industry, and society can work together to secure the future of Rajasthan’s youth.
By turning the festival into a continuous job‑building push, Rajasthan aims to cut unemployment, strengthen its economy, and foster social harmony. The state’s bold move signals that it treats employment as an ongoing, everyday agenda.
