Lady Gaga celebrated her fiancé Michael Polansky’s 42nd birthday with a sweet social media post, calling it her absolute favorite day of the year. The singer-actress shared a bunch of romantic photos from their intimate birthday bash, gushing about how much he’s accomplished in his 42 years.
“Happy Birthday to my honey,” Gaga wrote. “I hope 42 is your best year yet. You have done so much in your 42 years—I am so proud of you every day—and so grateful for this day you came into the world. It was the most special day. This is my favorite day of the year!”
She painted a cozy picture of the celebration: a crisp, almost rainy day filled with a long walk, his sweet birthday smile, plenty of laughter, and angel food cake topped with chocolate sauce. Gaga even joked about a goat in one photo knowing just how happy his birthday makes her. “I love you,” she added.
Fans will remember that Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky got engaged in 2024 during a rock climbing adventure. She kept the news under wraps for months before confirming it in July, sparking excitement among her Little Monsters.
Just a couple of weeks ago, on September 9, Gaga shouted out Polansky after her big wins at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). She posted two photos and opened up about their creative teamwork. “Dreaming up this album, making the plan, building every vision with you—talking endlessly about what we would create and do for monsters has been an experience I could not have ever imagined,” she shared.
Gaga praised how much he cares about her fans, saying it warms her heart. “I love how much you love my fans and want them to be happy… You care as much as I do about people feeling seen in the world. I’m forever grateful for how much you love and fight for me.”
She highlighted his nonstop dedication: “You work so so hard with me from dawn till dusk every day, living the music, performances, and plans with your blood, sweat, and tears, to see it through every step of the way. This year, I am the luckiest girl alive. I love you endlessly.”
At the VMAs, Gaga took home Artist of the Year right at the start of the show. She also won Best Collaboration for “Die with a Smile,” her hit track with Bruno Mars that has been dominating charts and playlists.
In her birthday tribute, Gaga called Polansky her ultimate creative partner in art, business, and love. “I know you to be a man of many talents, a true renaissance man. Your mind and kind heart are what make you shine. I have seen there’s nothing you can’t do. You are MY artist of the year. And the love of my life. Thank you for making all our MAYHEM dreams come true. I love you.” She signed off with a nod to a bedside photo they cherish.
