Hyderabad Murder Case: Police Arrest Three Suspects in Woman’s Killing
Police in Hyderabad have cracked a shocking murder case, arresting three people linked to the death of a woman in her own home. The crime happened on September 10 in the Kukatpally area, and it all points to a robbery gone wrong.
The main suspects are Harsha, a house help who worked for the victim, and his friend Roshan, who was employed in the same gated community. A third man, Roshan’s brother, helped hide them after the attack. Cyberabad Police teamed up with authorities in Ranchi, Jharkhand, to nab the trio late last night. They caught Harsha and Roshan based on CCTV footage and tips from a cab driver who dropped them off while fleeing.
Renuka Agarwal, the victim, was found dead in her apartment. "From the start, CCTV clues showed Harsha and Roshan killed her and tried to run," said Cyberabad CP Avinash Mohanty. The motive? Easy money. The duo thought the house had valuables like jewelry and cash they could steal and sell.
Digging deeper, police uncovered more details. Harsha has a tough past with drug addiction—he even spent time in a rehab center in Kolkata. When cops grabbed him in Ranchi, he seemed high on substances. Roshan, on the other hand, has a criminal history back in 2023 with cases in Ranchi police stations. "If the employment agency or her family had checked backgrounds properly, this might not have happened," Mohanty added. Harsha had no prior record, though.
The suspects are in custody now. They appeared in a Ranchi court and got transit remand to head back to Hyderabad. Police recovered stolen watches and phones from them, and they’re working to get back the jewelry the accused sold to a local shop.
