Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to attend APEC CEO Summit in S. Korea

Seoul – On Sunday, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) announced that about 1,700 global business leaders will head to South Korea for the APEC CEO Summit. The event, held on the sidelines of the APEC leaders’ meeting, will run from October 28 to 31 in the historic city of Gyeongju, roughly 275 km southeast of Seoul.

The forum will bring together CEOs and top executives from APEC economies and major global companies. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will be among the attendees, joined by Amazon Web Services head Matt Garman, Google’s Asia‑Pacific marketing chief Simon Kahn, Citi Group CEO Jane Fraser, and Johnson & Johnson CEO Joaquin Duato. Key international officials such as IMF managing director Kristalina Georgieva and OECD secretary‑general Mathias Cormann are also on the guest list.

KCCI chairman Chey Tae‑won will host the opening reception and deliver welcome remarks. Over four days, participants will tackle hot topics that shape the global economy: economic challenges, geopolitical cooperation, digital transformation, sovereign AI strategies, digital currencies, and future mobility.

The APEC summit proper is set for October 31 to November 1 at the same venue, where leaders, including U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping, are expected to meet amid ongoing trade tensions.

With a history spanning more than three decades, the APEC CEO Summit remains Asia‑Pacific’s premier business gathering, uniting C‑level executives, thought leaders, and government officials in a forum that shapes the region’s economic future.
