The Indian Army recently wrapped up a buzzing Agniveer recruitment rally in Arunachal Pradesh, sparking excitement among local youth eager to join the forces. Held at Gyaptong Regional Stadium in Rupa, the event ran from September 3 to 5 and saw over 380 aspirants from various districts show up with high spirits.
Defence spokesman Lt Col Mahendra Rawat shared that the rally motivated young people to step up and serve the nation as proud Agniveers. These candidates had already cleared the online common entrance exam and went through tough physical fitness tests, measurements, documentation, and medical checks—all meeting the strict Indian Army standards.
The rally kicked off with the Director Recruiting for North East States flagging it off, joined by senior Army officers and local dignitaries who cheered on the participants. Lt Col Rawat emphasized that the entire process stayed transparent and fair, giving every eligible candidate an equal shot. Thanks to strong support from civil administration and local military teams, everything ran smoothly without a hitch.
The final merit list for successful Agniveer recruits will come out soon, once all stages wrap up. The Indian Army thanked the people and officials of Arunachal Pradesh for their warm cooperation and gave a big shoutout to all the determined youth who took part.
