Gujarat: “Mera Desh Pehle” show highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Nation First” spirit held for first time at GIFT City

Gandhinagar, Gujarat – On Friday, the city played host to a new chapter in the story of India’s development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The event, called Mera Desh Pehle, was staged at GIFT City, the futuristic financial hub in the capital of Gujarat.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was among the guests, joining a mix of government officials, industrial leaders and ordinary citizens who came to watch the show. The performance was free for the public, and people who had registered online were welcomed with open arms, along with their families.
Mera Desh Pehle is a musical saga that traces the life and work of Narendra Modi. The script was written by Manoj Muntashir, a celebrated filmmaker and writer. The programme highlights Modi’s dedication to the nation, his focus on growth, and his commitment to putting India first.
The Goa‑style show is now touring across six major cities in the country, with the next stop in Mumbai. The Mumbai screening, held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, drew big names from Bollywood, including Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal. Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, also graced the event.
Earlier, a similar presentation was given to a packed audience in Patna, Bihar, at the Urja Auditorium. Bihar Minister Neeraj Kumar Singh mentioned he had traveled 300 kilometres to catch the performance and praised it as a tribute that showcased Modi’s hard‑earned struggles and his dedication to public service. Anamika Singh, a BJP leader, echoed the sentiment, saying that the saga revealed how deeply Modi cares about every citizen.
The first showcase in Gujarat follows the success of the 75th‑birthday celebration in Delhi on September 17, where the same musical story was staged at KD Jadhav Hall.
Mera Desh Pehle continues to attract attention across India, bringing the Prime Minister’s legacy to life for a wide range of audiences. It serves as a reminder of his leadership style—practical, patriotic and focused on the welfare of all Indian citizens.
