Vijay Antony, the popular music director, actor, and producer, just dropped some exciting news at the pre-release event of his upcoming film Sakthi Thirumagan. He revealed that his production house, Vijay Antony Film Corporation, will transform into a public limited company by 2027. This move aims to boost his ability to support more young talents and create diverse content.
Speaking at the event in Chennai, Vijay Antony shared his passion for nurturing new directors. "I’ve been reaching out to fresh faces, like calling Vinayak of Romeo fame and director Joshua to collaborate," he said. But he admitted his solo efforts can only handle four or five films a year. "I want to help more youngsters, motivate them, and produce in multiple languages. For that, I need stronger financial backing. That’s why Vijay Antony Film Corporation will go public in 2027—it’ll give us the power to bring out even better stories."
The announcement came during the buzz around Sakthi Thirumagan, a neo-political thriller directed by the talented Arun Prabhu, known for his acclaimed films Aruvi and Vaazhl. The censor board has given it a U/A certificate, and it’s all set to release on September 19. This marks Vijay Antony’s 25th film, adding to the hype.
Vijay Antony earlier clarified that the movie’s take on politics is universal, not tied to any party or country. "It’s the kind of politics we see everywhere in the world," he explained. "I’ve made political films like Kodiyil Oruvan and Yeman before, but Sakthi Thirumagan dives deep from Arun’s unique perspective. It’s relatable people’s politics that you’ve probably never seen on screen."
Both Vijay Antony and Arun Prabhu promise the film will connect with everyday viewers through its gripping narrative. The teaser has already got fans hooked—it starts with a child’s birth and quickly dives into the nation’s biggest scam. As politicians, cops, bureaucrats, and the public scramble to uncover the mastermind named Kittu, it builds edge-of-your-seat tension.

The cast is packed with talent, including Vaagai Chandrasekar, Sunil Kripalani, Cell Murugan, Trupthi Ravindra, Kiran, Rini Bot, Riya Jithu, and young Master Keshav.
