Bomb Threats Rock Jaipur Schools: Students Evacuated in Panic
Jaipur woke up to a scary start on Monday when two schools got chilling bomb threat emails. Springfield School in Mansarovar and another private school in Shivdaspura received warnings about possible explosions, sending everyone into a frenzy.
Police say the first email hit Springfield School at 5:14 a.m. It read: "A bomb has been placed in the school, it will explode soon. Everyone should go to a safe place before 2:30 p.m." School staff quickly alerted the cops, who swung into action right away. Bomb disposal teams and sniffer dog squads rushed to both spots and kicked off thorough search operations.
To keep everyone safe, authorities evacuated the schools and sent students and teachers home immediately. No one took any chances with these bomb threats in Jaipur schools.
This isn’t the first time Jaipur has faced such scares. Back on August 20, The Palace School and SMS School got similar hoax emails. After intense searches, police found nothing suspicious, confirming they were just false alarms.
The drama didn’t stop in Jaipur. Over in Alwar, a fresh security alert hit the mini secretariat on the same day. The threatening email warned of a blast on September 8. Officials point out this isn’t new—similar bomb threat emails arrived on April 15 and May 14, but searches turned up no explosives.
ADM Bina Mahavar shared some insights: "The emails follow a pattern that points to sources outside the district. The language doesn’t sound local. We’ve traced past ones to Chennai, and this latest one seems to come from the same place." She’s urging calm while investigations continue.
These repeated bomb threats in Rajasthan schools and offices have everyone on edge. Police have ramped up security and are digging deep to track down the email sources. Authorities promise strict measures and treat every threat seriously until they prove it’s a hoax.
With so many targets in recent months, officials believe these are part of a bigger plan to spread panic through fake bomb threats. Stay tuned as the probe unfolds—safety comes first in Jaipur and Alwar.
