Andhra Pradesh leaders from across parties are showering praise on C. P. Radhakrishnan after his election as India’s new Vice-President. This big win has sparked warm congratulations, highlighting unity in celebrating democracy’s strength.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan led the cheers, hailing Radhakrishnan’s vast experience and strong leadership. “I hope his exemplary statesmanship brings more dignity to the Vice-President’s office and sparks meaningful debates in the Rajya Sabha,” Pawan Kalyan said. His Jana Sena Party, a key ally of the BJP-led NDA, stands firmly behind this milestone.
Even former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who heads the YSR Congress Party, joined in the festivities. Though not part of the NDA, his party supported Radhakrishnan’s bid. On X (formerly Twitter), Jagan posted: “Congratulations, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan Ji, on becoming Vice-President of India! Wishing you success in serving the nation. Your dedication and experience will guide our country well.”
Union Minister for Civil Aviation and TDP leader K. Ram Mohan Naidu also extended his best wishes. “This victory shows the vibrancy of our democracy and the strength of our constitutional bodies. Best wishes for a fruitful tenure ahead,” he shared on social media.
Andhra Pradesh’s Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, son of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and TDP general secretary, added his voice. “Radhakrishnan’s rich experience, statesmanship, and commitment to public service will enrich our nation. Wishing him success in serving people with wisdom and dignity,” Lokesh wrote.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar called it a proud moment for India. He emphasized how the election reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s NDA government’s push to empower backward classes and give them top-level representation in democracy.
As India gears up for more dynamic leadership, Radhakrishnan’s role promises to inspire constructive discussions and strengthen the country’s democratic foundations. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting development in Indian politics.
