Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to head to Bihar this Sunday for a full‑day election push, greeting voters in two back‑to‑back rallies before heading to Patna for a grand roadshow.
The day starts in Arrah at 1:30 pm where the PM will speak to crowds and then move on to Nawada at 3:30 pm for a second rally. By 5 pm he will be back in Patna. Shortly after, at 5:25 pm, Modi will lay a floral tribute at the statue of Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, followed by a large‑scale roadshow that begins at Dinkar Golambar at 5:30 pm. The march will wind past Nala Road, Thakurwadi and Bakarganj, carrying supporters of the NDA coalition.
At about 6:45 pm, the PM is scheduled to visit the Takht Sri Harimandir Sahib Gurudwara in Patna City, underscoring the party’s outreach to all communities.
Traffic police warned that from 2 pm to 7 pm, several key routes—Dinkar Golambar‑Nala Road, Nala Road‑Bari Path, Machhua Toli‑Bari Path, Khetan Market, Hathua Market‑Bakarganj, Vaishali Golambar‑Dinkar Golambar, and Apsara Golambar‑Nala Road Golambar—will have tight restrictions. Only fire tenders, ambulances, patient vehicles, judicial cars, election duty vehicles and those with special passes will be allowed. General traffic and party workers are asked to use alternate routes. Parking for supporters is available at Gandhi Maidan, Patna Science College, Patna College, under the double‑decker bridge, Moin‑ul‑Haq Stadium and Shakha Maidan.
Sunday promises to be a high‑energy political day in Bihar. Beyond Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will host rallies in Muzaffarpur and Vaishali. Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi will address supporters in Begusarai and Khagaria, while Grand Alliance Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav will visit multiple locations, including Munger, Patna, Vaishali and Saran.
With all the major leaders in the state, the day will see intense campaigning ahead of the upcoming elections.
