In Indore, a fatal crash near the Lasudia police area wrecked two young lives. Late Friday night, a sports‑utility vehicle hurtled at high speed and struck a motorcycle carrying three friends. The impact was brutal enough to launch the riders onto the road. Ayush, 23, from Munni, and Krishna Pal, 21, from Chhaigaon in Khandwa district, died right there. Their companion, Shreyansh, now in his early 20s, is fighting for his life in the ICU of the government‑run Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital (MYH), where he is on a ventilator after suffering multiple fractures and severe head injuries.
Eyewitnesses say the crash happened around 2 a.m. The SUV had no brake marks, and its tires were fresh—clear signs of reckless driving. Police arrived quickly, cordoned off the spot, and took the vehicle into custody. The vehicle has been impounded and an FIR is pending under Sections 106 (causing fatal injury by negligence) and 125/B (causing hurt by rash act) of the Indian Penal Code.
Forensic teams combed the site for clues. CCTV footage from nearby shops and the hospital is being reviewed to identify the driver. Police are tracing the car’s registration to its owner, but the driver remains a mystery, raising fear of a hit‑and‑run cover‑up.
The victims were simply young people with bright futures. Ayush was an aspiring engineer from a modest family in Vijay Nagar, while Krishna Pal had just graduated and was eyeing a career in IT. Their friends and relatives sit outside MYH’s ICU, praying for a miracle and holding vigil.
If anyone has information about the crash or the vehicle’s owner, contact Lasudia police immediately. Every lead can help bring the driver to justice and prevent similar tragedies.
