BJP’s Massive Growth and India’s Bright Future: J.P. Nadda Shares Key Highlights in Visakhapatnam
In Visakhapatnam, BJP national president J.P. Nadda made headlines on Sunday by declaring the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as the world’s largest political party. With a whopping 14 crore members—including 2 crore active ones—the BJP stands tall as a global powerhouse in politics.
Nadda spoke at a lively public meeting to wrap up the Saradhyam Yatra led by Andhra Pradesh BJP unit president P.V.N. Madhav. He highlighted the party’s strength, pointing out its 240 Lok Sabha MPs, around 1,500 MLAs, and over 170 MLCs. "We’re the biggest representative force in India," he said proudly. The NDA rules 20 states, while BJP directly governs 13 of them.
Turning to the party’s vision, Nadda urged every BJP worker (karyakarta) to feel inspired. "We’re the ones shaping India’s future," he said, emphasizing the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas. This push aims for a Viksit Bharat—a developed India—under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance.
Nadda praised the last 11 years of Modi’s leadership for bringing all-round progress. He called the BJP-led NDA government "responsible and responsive," a sharp contrast to past regimes plagued by corruption, family favoritism, and poor performance. "Now, it’s all about performance and accountability," he added.
The BJP chief reminded members to take pride in the party’s strong ideological roots. He listed major achievements like scrapping Article 370, building the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, ending triple talaq, and reforming the Waqf Board Act. These steps show how the party delivers on its promises.
On the economy, Nadda shared exciting updates. When NDA took over in 2014, India ranked 11th globally. Today, it’s the world’s fourth-largest economy, and soon it could hit third place. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) recently dubbed India’s economy a "bright spot" amid global challenges. He also highlighted GST 2.0 reforms, where the Modi government slashed two of the four GST slabs as a festive gift for Diwali and Dussehra.
Under PM Modi, India is charging ahead in every sector. The economy is booming, defense is stronger, exports are rising, and manufacturing is thriving. Nadda even called India the "world’s pharmacy" for its role in global medicine production.
Shifting to Andhra Pradesh, Nadda slammed the previous YSR Congress Party government for corruption and zero governance. He thanked locals for heeding Modi’s call to bring NDA to power. Now, with PM Modi and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at the helm, the state is on a fast track to progress.
Nadda reeled off key developments: The Centre allocated Rs 15,000 crore to build Amaravati as the state capital. Andhra Pradesh is turning into an education hub with new central institutions. National highways have doubled in length, and Rs 3,500 crore went to urban projects under the AMRUT scheme. Cities like Kakinada, Tirupati, and Amaravati are getting smart city upgrades.
Ports are a big focus too—14 are under development, including Rs 625 crore for Bhogapuram Port. Plus, the state now has its own South Coastal Railway Zone, boosting connectivity and jobs.
Nadda’s speech fired up the crowd, reinforcing BJP’s role in India’s growth story and Andhra Pradesh’s revival. As the party eyes more wins, these updates signal a promising path ahead for development and unity.
