President Murmu Leads Birthday Wishes for PM Modi on His 75th Milestone

President Droupadi Murmu kicked off the celebrations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday with warm greetings. She praised his leadership for inspiring the nation to chase big dreams through hard work. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Murmu wrote, "Heartfelt birthday greetings and best wishes to the Prime Minister of India, Shri @narendramodi ji. By exemplifying the pinnacle of hard work through your extraordinary leadership, you have instilled a culture of achieving great goals in the country." Her message, shared from the official Rashtrapati Bhavan account, highlighted how Modi’s guidance is shaping India’s future on the global stage.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant joined the chorus, wishing PM Modi on behalf of his state. Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, Sawant said, "I give best wishes to PM Narendra Modi on behalf of the Goa state government and the people on the occasion of his birthday. The way infrastructure and human resource development took place during his tenure had never happened before… His leadership will take the country forward." Sawant emphasized Modi’s role in boosting India’s growth like never before.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal also shared his joy, calling Modi the country’s most popular leader. "Prime Minister Modi has taken the country to new heights of development. He has ensured that development reaches every citizen of the country. By implementing GST reforms, Prime Minister Modi has made the life of every citizen of the country easier," Goyal told reporters. His words spotlighted key reforms like GST that have simplified life for millions in India.

To mark PM Modi’s 75th birthday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a special 15-day nationwide campaign called Seva Pakhwada. Running from September 17 to October 2—starting on Modi’s birthday and ending on Gandhi Jayanti—the event will feature blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and exhibitions showcasing the central government’s achievements. Union Minister Bhupender Yadav announced the initiative, urging everyone to join in this spirit of service.

Adding to the festivities, the National Award-winning film Chalo Jeete Hain gets a special re-release across India from September 17. This inspiring movie pays tribute to Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy: "Bas wahi jeete hain, jo doosro ke liye jeete hain" (Only those are truly successful who live for others). It’s a perfect nod to Modi’s focus on selfless service and national progress.

Even internationally, the birthday buzz reached the White House. US President Donald Trump called PM Modi to wish him on his 75th birthday and thanked him for helping end the Russia-Ukraine conflict. In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, "Just had a wonderful phone call with my friend, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I wished him a very Happy Birthday! He is doing a tremendous job. Narendra: Thank you for your support on ending the War between Russia and Ukraine! President DJT." This gesture underscores the strong India-US ties under Modi’s leadership.

As India celebrates PM Modi’s 75th birthday, these tributes reflect his lasting impact on development, reforms, and global diplomacy. Stay tuned for more updates on the Seva Pakhwada events and nationwide celebrations.
