Actor Sushant Singh recently shared his honest take on the rollercoaster ride of his acting career, stressing how crucial it is to stay grounded and ignore the pull of social media likes and shares.
From blockbuster movies like Satya, Kaun, Jungle, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, and Rakht Charitra to gripping series such as Rana Naidu, Bindiya Ke Bahubali, and IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack, Sushant’s filmography is packed with hits. Looking back, he calls his journey a mix of "ups and downs" that everyone in the industry faces.
"There are ups and downs, and sure, everyone goes through them," Sushant told . "But during those low phases, it feels like the world’s ending. You get frustrated and depressed. Still, when you reflect on the whole ride—including the tough times—it turns out fun because that’s what makes your story exciting."
He didn’t shy away from the real struggles behind the spotlight either. "You have to pay the bills, right? Fan praises feel great, but they don’t cover your EMI," he added with a laugh.
As someone who scrolls through social media a lot, Sushant warns against chasing online validation. "From my experience, it can get addictive and pull you into a fake world," he said. "You start thinking you’re a god in this virtual bubble. But it’s not real—avoid it. True praise comes from friends at home, colleagues, real critics, and genuine fans. Everything else? It’s temporary and fake; it’ll vanish one day."
Sushant’s latest project, Bindiya Ke Bahubali, just dropped and stars big names like Saurabh Shukla, Ranvir Shorey, Seema Biswas, and Sheeba Chaddha. The series dives into the chaos after a mafia don’s arrest during an election in the fictional town of Bindiya, India. With the powerful Bada Davan behind bars, his ambitious son Chhote Davan fights to grab control in a high-stakes battle for legacy and power.
Fans are loving Sushant’s raw insights into Bollywood life and social media pitfalls—it’s a reminder to keep it real amid the glamour.
