Rohini’s brother, Tej Pratap Yadav, an MLA from Hasanpur, quickly jumped to her defense. He showered praise on her gutsy step, saying, “I played in her lap. What she has done is a great achievement for any mother, sister, or daughter. It requires courage and will be remembered in history.” He didn’t hold back on the warnings either, adding, “If anyone insults my sister, I will use the Sudarshan Chakra. Rohini is absolutely right.”
At the heart of this Bihar political family feud seems to be Sanjay Yadav, a close ally and Rajya Sabha MP to Tejashwi. Rohini has raised eyebrows over his growing influence. In the days leading up to her social media lockdown, she shared cryptic posts on X (formerly Twitter), standing firm as a “responsible daughter and sister.” She then deleted those messages and went private last Saturday.
Tensions boiled over during Tejashwi’s ongoing Bihar Adhikar Yatra. Sanjay Yadav was caught sitting in the front seat of Tejashwi’s vanity van—a spot typically reserved for the party leader. Rohini called it out sharply online, posting, “The front seat belongs to the leader of the party.” So far, neither Sanjay nor Tejashwi has fired back, leaving room for even more speculation.
This personal clash hits at a tricky time for the RJD. The party is deep in seat-sharing talks within the INDIA bloc as the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections loom. Bihar politics watchers are buzzing, especially since no official word has come from Lalu Prasad Yadav’s camp. As family loyalties test the waters, it could ripple into the high-stakes election prep for this key Indian opposition group.
